Mr. Bradley Eston Academy Brass Band Director



Mr. Bradley Eston, Director of the STLABB and Co-Director of the STLYBB, is an Assistant Band Director and the Percussion Coordinator in the O'fallon District 90 Junior High Schools. Prior to his recent appointment as Director, he both Co-directed and played Euphonium in the STLABB.
In May of 2024, Mr. Eston earned his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from McKendree University. During his time at McKendree University he conducted the McKendree Concert Band, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Chamber Ensembles on several concerts. Mr. Eston has also had the opportunity to work with and direct the McKendree University Honors High School Brass Ensemble. Mr. Eston is a 2023- 2024 Lincoln Laureate award recipient from the prestigious Lincoln Academy of Illinois and the 2024 MLK Humanitarian Award recipient.
Mr. Eston served as the Brass Technician for the Collinsville High School Band from 2021-2024, as well as the Low Brass Technician with the Mascoutah High School Marching Band in 2024. Mr. Eston has had the opportunity to assist, observe, and teach in many of the Metro East Illinois schools. Mr. Eston has had the privilege to learn from Dr. Thomas Bough, Dr. Wendy Matthews, Dr. Joe Parisi, Dr. Beth Peterson, Dr. Jamie Nix, Dr. Stephen Davis, and Dr. Mallory Thompson in the art of conducting.
